Inspired by classic strongman Husafell carries, the Strength Shop Husafell Sandbag is built for brutal but controlled conditioning work. Made from 100% Nylon 1050D Cordura in our signature Strength Shop blue, this sandbag is designed for heavy carries from floor or plinth, platform loading, and strongman-style events. You can even use it for compression work across the chest.

The bag features a double-layer construction with an outer shell and inner liner, both from the same durable material. Triple stitching, a 100% nylon Velcro filler flap, and a YKK zipper, doubled over for extra security, keep the filler where it belongs. Internally reinforced straps help the bag maintain its Husafell-style shape under load.

The Husafell Sandbag can be dropped repeatedly during training. Like any soft goods, it will eventually show wear after long service, and it should be kept away from sharp edges and rough surfaces.

Filling recommendations

The bag is easy to fill. We recommend dry, kiln-dried sand for accurate weight and maximum density. While filling, level the sand occasionally and shake the bag, especially on the larger sizes, to help the sand move through the internal straps.

You can also experiment with other substrates:

• Rubber crumb → larger, but lighter training bag
• Lead / metal shot → very dense, very heavy bag

Final weight will vary depending on filler material.
