Competition Bumper Plates – Uncompromising Performance on the Platform

Thanks to a design refined down to the last detail, our Competition Bumper Plates deliver an outstanding, no-compromise lifting experience on the platform. Equipped with durable steel disc inserts and a slightly raised rubber lip, the plates can be loaded onto the barbell without direct metal-to-metal contact. The 50.5 mm collar opening ensures a secure fit on the bar and prevents the plates from sliding. Their compact construction results in a minimal bounce effect, making them ideal for high-rep Olympic lifting. Featuring the traditional IWF-standard colour coding and a uniform 450 mm diameter for quick identification and easy handling, Strength Shop’s Competition Bumper Plates are built for both competition and serious training.

Please note:

Plates are sold as singles. 140kg set consists of two of each plate.
To protect quality during shipping, our bumper plates are coated with a silicone-based protective film, packed in plastic wrap, and boxed. This may result in a strong rubber smell upon unpacking, which will dissipate over time with regular use. In a well-ventilated gym space, the smell should fade within a few days. To speed up the process, you can clean the plates with water and soap, wipe them down with a cloth, and let them air out.
